Arte Berri which means "new art" in Euskera is an art house opened Monday - Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm or by appointment.

It is located in the 16th century street and was newly renovated to house a permanent collection  as well as to open the door to new artists looking for an alternative space to exhibit. At Arte Berri you will not only find an exquisite collection you will also be able to visit a contemporary art gallery. This art house is also the headquarters to an ONG, Fundacion Goiena, dedicated to promote cultural events in the Dominican Republic. Fundacion Goiena has already organized two important art history lectures by academics Gregorio Luke and Dr. Carol Damian.
